The Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Ambassadors’ Spouses Association in a non- profit making organisation founded in the 1970s. Members of the ACPASA are the spouses/partners of the Heads of diplomatic missions and Ambassadors of ACP countries based in Brussels and Spouses nominated by the Head of Mission in the event that the Head of Mission or the Ambassador is not accompanied by a Spouse/partner. We are specifically dedicated to addressing socio economic issues of marginalized communities. The Association invests in programs that combine multiple interventions to respond to inter-related rights and needs, from physical safety to economic security. We have developed partnerships with the Belgian government, the European Union, the Diaspora and other organisations domiciled in Belgium to help contribute to changing the lives of people in ACP countries. The Executive Committee is responsible for the day to day running of the organisation which is elected on an annual basis consisting of:
